AMF is looking forward to meeting with two additional Gold Star moms, Debbie and Karen from Pueblo, Colorado at our Gold Star Luncheon. As stated by one Gold Star mom at the last AMF Gold Star Luncheon, “Gold Star Mom is a title that I am proud to wear, but one I wish I never had to wear.”
Thank you for giving us a place to come and comfort each other, and just be here for one another. This will be a great place to come…
Thank you for giving us a place to come and comfort one another….
Freedom Isn’t Free and I just wanted to say “Thank You”…. Because of the heroism of your sons and daughters – I am able to sleep in peace tonight – as are my family, my friends, my neighbors, my collegues. God Bless all of you – May you find peace in knowing that we are a grateful nation – we honor your sacrifice – we mourn your loss and we are humbled by your strength.
A personal note to the AMF Gold Star Luncheon Ladies – I want to publicly offer my thanks to each of you. I am so honored to know you. Each one of you inspire me. I am so honored that you have allowed me the privilege of getting to know your sons – each one exceptional – and a direct result of an exceptional mom.

Hi–I was referred to this group and would love very much to be a part of it. My son was KIA in Balad, Iraq on 5 Sept 2007. I really NEED to be a part of a support group that truly UNDERSTANDS WHAT I (WE) ARE FEELING). Please keep me posted on what the happenings are and when the next luncheon takes place.
Thanks!
